Since starting her career in the industry, Dani – a co-owner of The Nail and Beauty Lounge, has completed many courses in various training schools across the East Midlands and Yorkshire. Each course has left gaps in her knowledge, resulting in her taking further training to be able to provide the high standards The Nail and Beauty Lounge strive to achieve.
Nat and Dani are passionate about the industry and have worked hard to develop their skills to be advanced technicians in their areas and constantly keep up to date with latest techniques and procedures to offer the best service and standard of treatments in their award winning salon.
After taking these courses and developing skills further, it has been a goal to be able to offer high quality training to anyone who would like to pursue a career in the beauty industry. We believe a student should be able to take a course and leave with the confidence to complete the treatment from start to finish without feeling worried, encounter problems they don’t have the skills to face and then give up on their dream.
Our academy will not only teach you to complete a treatment, we will offer you full support before and after your course to help you develop your skills and help you on your way to setting up your successful business.
As both salon owners and previously mobile technicians, Nat and Dani have the experience in both settings to help you start your business which ever route you decide to take.
We want you to leave your course with a full understanding of the treatment, anatomy and physiology and the practical skills needed. This is why all of our courses involve prior learning via a manual and online video calls. We have decided to do this so we can really concentrate on the practical side of the treatments on the day. You will be required to have studied and taken part in the online learning sessions before we will accept you on the day course.
Once you have completed your course, our support doesn’t stop there… You will be part of our academy group where you can ask any questions and receive the support you may need.
